This solid, horizontal 5-liter sausage stuffer from the renowned brand Master's is built exclusively from high-quality stainless steel, completely free of cheap painted carbon steel components. Everything from the frame and cylinder itself to the gears and cogs is designed to withstand years of hard use. To make the work process as efficient as possible, the machine is equipped with a smart two-stage gear system: a slow, powerful gear for the actual stuffing, and a lightning-fast return gear that allows you to quickly wind the piston back to refill the meat.

The Master's stuffer is equipped with a silicone gasket and an essential air release valve in the piston plate, which ensures excess air is released from the meat so you avoid air pockets in the casing. Despite its great 5-liter capacity, this horizontal machine is incredibly small, compact, and handy (L40 x W21 x H20 cm). It takes up significantly less storage space in the cabinet than a comparable vertical model. Every single stuffer is engraved with a unique serial number and comes with a 10-year warranty, ensuring an incredibly safe purchase.

Horizontal or vertical model?
If you mostly make regular dinner sausages and mixed batters, we often recommend a vertical model, as it can be placed in the middle of a table. However, if you make a lot of cured sausages (salami) and coarse, unmixed meats, this horizontal model is the clear choice. Because the meat is pressed straight forward and out, it avoids having to go through the angled bend at the bottom of a vertical stuffer. This significantly reduces resistance and makes it incredibly much easier to stuff heavy, salty, and dense cured sausage meat!

Where must a horizontal sausage stuffer be placed?

A horizontal model requires you to place it so that the sausage funnel extends over the edge of the table or counter. This is because the casing and the sausage must have room to fill and hang freely while the meat is pressed out of the cylinder.

How does the air valve on the piston work?

When you crank the piston into the meat, there will often be small air pockets inside the batter. The valve on the piston plate releases this air backwards, so you avoid the air being pushed into the casing and creating ugly bubbles in the finished sausage.
