Information
Potato Seasoning with Herbs: Fully Seasoned from the First Wedge
The potato does the work, the seasoning makes the difference. This blend gathers everything an oven-baked potato needs in one tub: salt, pepper, onion, paprika and garlic at the base, with parsley, rosemary, thyme and chives on top. Toss the wedges in oil and seasoning, into the oven, done. With 1-2 tablespoons per kg of potatoes, the dish is both seasoned and salted in the same sprinkle.

Four herbs, garlic and paprika

The blend is made for oven-baked potatoes, whole or in wedges, and works equally well for oil-marinated salad potatoes and in salads. Salt makes up 34 grams per 100 grams, so the seasoning salts the dish in the same sprinkle, and the paprika gives the wedges a golden colour in the oven. The blend is free from allergens according to the product specification. Store the seasoning dry and dark, and the flavour holds to the last sprinkle.
Rinse the wedges in cold water and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel before tossing them in oil and seasoning. The surface starch you rinse away is the difference between chewy and crisp. And skip extra salt, it is already in the blend.

FAQ Frequently asked questions
How much potato seasoning per kg of potatoes?
Count on 1-2 tablespoons per kg of potatoes, tossed with about 2 tablespoons of oil. Start with 1 tablespoon and adjust upwards next time for a stronger flavour.
Do I need to add salt as well?
No. The blend contains 34 grams of salt per 100 grams, so the salting happens in the same sprinkle. Extra salt quickly makes the potatoes too salty.
What else can the seasoning be used for?
Oil-marinated salad potatoes are the other classic: stir 1 tablespoon of seasoning into 2-3 tablespoons of oil and toss with cooked, cooled potatoes. A light sprinkle also lifts potato salad and other salads.
Does the potato seasoning contain allergens?
No, the blend is free from allergens according to the product specification. It consists of salt, spices, herbs and a little sugar, without gluten, milk or soy.
