Does the plate need to be seasoned before use?
No, since this is made in stainless steel, it does not need to be seasoned in the same way as cast iron. Wash it well with hot soapy water before the first use, and you are ready to grill!
What is the easiest way to clean it?
When you are done grilling and the plate is still warm, simply scrape off food residue with a flat spatula. Afterwards, you can wash it with hot water and dish soap. Since the plate is stainless, you can also use steel wool on the toughest spots without ruining any coating.
