Muurikka Grill Glove

The Muurikka Grill Glove is made of heat-resistant aramid fibers (the same material used in fireproof suits), providing extreme protection against both high heat and flying sparks. The glove is indispensable when moving hot pans, lifting grill grates, or adding firewood.

Although the glove can withstand extreme heat for short periods, avoid holding it directly in open flames for extended times or lifting glowing coals for long. It is designed for handling hot equipment, not as a "fire extinguisher".

Can the glove be washed?
Yes, it can be gently hand washed if it gets very dirty, but avoid machine washing and tumble drying to preserve the silicone coating.
Is it waterproof?
No, the aramid fabric is porous and breathable. If the glove gets wet, it conducts heat faster, so be careful with moisture near heat.
