Discover a new dimension of smoke flavor with this finely ground smoking dust made from Spanish almond wood. Smokey Olive Wood Almond Wood Smoking Dust No. 1 is specially developed for cold smoking and provides a delicate, light, and nutty aroma that is far milder than traditional woods like oak or beech. ✔ For Cold Smoke Generators
|
The fine grain size of 0–1 mm ensures that the dust smolders evenly and slowly in a cold smoke generator (e.g., spiral burner or maze). The smoke from almond wood is known for its balance; it is rich enough to add character but subtle enough to preserve the uniqueness of the ingredient. It is excellently suited for cheese, butter, vegetables, chicken, and fish.
This product is made from root wood of Spanish almond trees. The wood is harvested when old trees are replaced with new ones in the plantations, making it a sustainable byproduct of the fruit and nut industry in sunny Spain.

FAQ
Can this be used in a regular gas grill?
This is a very fine dust (0-1mm) intended for cold smoke generators that smolder slowly. If you are going to hot smoke in a gas grill with a smoker box, we recommend larger chips (Chips No. 2 or No. 3) instead, as this dust will burn up too quickly at high heat.
What does almond smoke pair best with?
Almond wood is fantastic for cheese, vegetables, pork, and poultry. It provides a milder flavor than hickory and mesquite, making it harder to "over-smoke" the food.
