Since the mix is completely free of salt and sugar, you have full control over the final result. A 30g pack is enough to season approx. 2.4 kg of meat, making it very economical to use.
Since this mix is salt-free, you must remember to add salt yourself. For deli meats, approx. 18-20g of salt per kg of meat is recommended. To preserve the fresh, pink color of the meat, you can use curing salt (nitrite salt).
