Browin Premium Vertical Sausage Stuffer 7 L: The Big Batch Model

This is the largest of Browin's vertical premium stuffers, made for production days where the meat is measured in tens of kilos. The stainless steel cylinder holds 7 litres, the two-speed gearbox raises the piston quickly between refills and fills precisely once the casing is on, and the two universal clamps lock the machine to the countertop so all the force goes into the meat, not into the stuffer wandering across the bench.

7 L stainless steel cylinder
Two-speed gearbox
6 vented funnels: 14-35 mm
Clamps to the countertop

With around 7 kg of meat per fill you get through a whole family batch in one stretch, and the fast gear makes refilling so quick that large productions flow smoothly. The six vented funnels of 14, 18, 21, 25, 29 and 35 mm, the narrowest a dedicated kabanos funnel, cover everything from snack sausages in sheep casing to coarse calibres in beef, polyamide and collagen casings. The piston is vented with a replaceable seal that stops meat from passing the piston, the cylinder mounts on either side for right and left-handed use, and the crank has a locking screw so the handle stays put through the whole session.

Pro tip for production day!
Work the meat straight from the cold room and fill the cylinder in 7 kg portions while the next portion waits cold. Cold meat binds better, glides more smoothly through the funnel and gives firmer sausages, and with the fast gear on the return you never lose pace between fills.

Features

  • Largest capacity: The 7 litre cylinder takes around 7 kg of meat, roughly 70 grill sausages per fill.
  • Two speeds: The fast gear raises the piston quickly for refills, the power gear fills firm meat precisely without heavy effort.
  • Air-free result: A vented piston with replaceable seal and six vented funnels let the air escape, so the sausages come out tight without air bubbles.
  • Built for heavy sessions: Stainless steel, hardened steel bearing, reinforced construction and countertop clamps that hold the machine perfectly still.
  • Complete set: 6 funnels from 14 to 35 mm including a kabanos funnel, two clamps and a crank with locking screw are included.

How to use

  1. Fix the stuffer to the countertop with the two clamps, and fit the funnel that matches the casing.
  2. Fill the cylinder with cold meat, pack it down firmly and fit the piston.
  3. Crank in the power gear until the air is out and the meat reaches the funnel tip, then thread on the casing.
  4. Fill the casing at a steady pace, and use the fast gear to raise the piston when the cylinder needs refilling.

FAQ Frequently asked questions

Should I choose the 5 or the 7 litre model?

Both share the same gearbox, funnels and premium details, the difference is the cylinder. If you fill batches of 10-20 kg or more, the 7 litre saves you many refills. If bench space is tight and the batches smaller, the 5 litre is a little easier to handle and put away.

Which funnel do I use for which sausages?

Choose a funnel slightly narrower than the casing: 14 mm for kabanos, 18 and 21 mm for grill sausages and wieners in sheep casing, 25 and 29 mm for thicker sausages in hog casing, and 35 mm for coarse calibres in beef or artificial casings.

How many sausages does one fill make?

The cylinder takes around 7 kg of meat, which gives roughly 70 grill sausages of 100 grams. A typical production day of 15-20 kg is done in two to three fills.

How do I maintain the stuffer?

Wash the cylinder, piston and funnels by hand in hot soapy water and dry well. Oil the cylinder with a little neutral cooking oil before use, and check the piston seal regularly, it is replaceable and swapped in a moment.
