Clear shirred plastic casing designed for grill sausages. No pre treatment is required. The casing accepts smoke and can be smoked as usual, with no drying needed before smoking. After heat processing and cooling, you remove the casing to get skinless grill sausages with a clean, consistent shape. Diameter is 2.5 cm (25 mm). Total length is stated as approx 21 m with approx 7 kg filling.

How to use

  1. Place the casing on the stuffing tube and stuff evenly. Remove air pockets as you go.
  2. Close the ends using your preferred method.
  3. Smoke as usual if you want a smoked flavour.
  4. Heat process at about 80 C for about 7 to 10 minutes.
  5. Cool in cold water, preferably ice water.
  6. Once cooled, peel off the casing for skinless grill sausages.
