The system works by placing the meat in the cooker, under constant pressure from a solid spring mechanism. The entire mold is then lowered into a hot water bath for gentle cooking. This complete set gives you the perfect start: In addition to the ham cooker itself in robust stainless steel, you receive a precise thermometer for full temperature control, as well as 20 special bags that make the job clean and easy.
Use a pot that is not higher than 20 cm. The water should reach the lid of the ham cooker for even heating, but make sure the water level remains 3-4 cm below the rim of the pot to prevent it from boiling over.

Why should I use the included bags?
The plastic bags are food safe and designed for thermal processing. They make it extremely much easier to lift the finished ham out of the steel mold, and they keep all the meat juices and tasty jelly gathered around the meat during cooking. Cleaning up afterwards is also much easier.
Is the ham cooker dishwasher safe?
Yes, the ham cooker itself and its stainless steel parts are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend washing the cooking thermometer by hand to ensure the longest possible lifespan for the heat-resistant glass.
