Information
Lavezzini 450S, the chamber machine that follows the production
The 450S is a floor model on wheels with two 450 mm sealing bars, built for the days when the packing never seems to end. You lay two bags in the chamber at a time, and with a chamber of 560 x 460 x 220 mm there is room for both wide and tall products. The 20 m³/h oil pump keeps cycle times down through a whole shift.

The machine holds 20 programme slots, so every product gets its own fixed setting and the result is the same no matter who is packing. It stands on wheels and can be rolled to where the product is, rather than the product being carried to the machine. It runs from ordinary 230 V, which makes it easier to place than machines that need a dedicated three phase supply.
Two sealing bars mean you can run two bags side by side in every cycle, but only if both bag openings lie completely flat and free of folds. Spend the extra half second smoothing the edge of both bags before you close the lid. That habit doubles the real capacity, while a hastily laid bag gives you a leaking pack you only discover in the chiller.
Chamber machines need smooth bags, not textured ones. See smooth vacuum bags here.
Features
- Two sealing bars: 2 x 450 mm gives two finished packs per cycle, which in practice halves the time per bag when the format is the same.
- Large chamber: 560 x 460 x 220 mm takes tall products and wide bags, including whole cuts and deep tubs.
- 20 programme slots: Every product can have its own fixed setting, so new staff pack as correctly as the experienced ones.
- 20 m³/h oil pump: Built for continuous operation, not for short runs with pauses in between.
- On wheels: Rolls to where it is needed and locks in place. Easy to move when the production room is washed down.
- Standard 230 V: No three phase circuit required, which makes placement far freer than for larger industrial machines.
How to use
- Roll the machine into place and lock the castors. Check the pump oil level before first use.
- Place the product in smooth vacuum bags and lay one bag over each sealing bar, opening flat.
- Select a programme on the control panel, or set vacuum, seal time and any gas volume manually.
- Close the lid. The machine runs the vacuum, seals and returns air to the chamber.
- Empty and clean the chamber after the day is done, and keep to the service interval for the pump oil.

FAQ Frequently asked questions
How much faster are two sealing bars?
You pack two bags per cycle instead of one. With the same product and bag format that means roughly half the time per bag, provided both bag openings are laid flat.
Which bags should I use?
Smooth vacuum bags. Textured bags belong in machines that draw air out through the bag opening, and they cost more per bag as well.
Do I need a three phase supply?
No, the 450S runs from ordinary 230 V. That sets it apart from the largest industrial machines, which usually need a dedicated three phase circuit.
How often should the pump oil be changed?
Follow the interval in the manual, and change more often if you pack a lot of wet product. Milky oil means water in the pump and should be changed at once, or vacuum performance will drop.
Can it pack with gas?
Gas flushing is an option on this range. Get in touch before ordering if you need modified atmosphere, so we can confirm what is included on your machine.
