Primo Oval XL 400 Firebox (Replacement Part)
This is the genuine ceramic firebox replacement for the Primo Oval XL 400 (Extra Large). This part is the heart of the grill, and while Primo ceramics are extremely robust, accidents or long-term extreme use may necessitate a replacement. A new firebox restores the grill's optimal heat distribution and insulation capabilities.

Just like the original, this firebox features the integrated slot in the center. This slot is key to Primo's unique flexibility, holding the Cast Iron Firebox Divider in place. This allows you to split the massive grilling surface of the XL 400 into two zones, grilling directly over coals on one side and indirectly on the other – simultaneously.
Before installation, thoroughly clean the bottom of the grill to remove old ash. When placing the new box into the grill body, ensure the opening at the bottom aligns with the draft door on the front of the grill to ensure proper airflow.

Does this fit the LG 300?
No, this is too large. You need the specific firebox for the Large model (LG 300) if you have that grill.
Is a crack in my old box dangerous?
A hairline crack is often harmless and occurs due to thermal expansion. If the box starts losing pieces or the crack opens up significantly, it should be replaced to prevent heat loss to the outer shell.
