The real magic of the oval shape is the ability for true two-zone grilling. You can easily build a setup where you have scorching direct heat on one side for searing steaks, and gentle indirect heat on the other side for roasting large ingredients or keeping food warm. With the optional extender racks, you can expand the total grilling surface to a staggering 4386 square centimeters, enough to feed an entire neighborhood.
Please note that ceramic feet are not included with this grill as standard. These must be purchased separately if the grill is to be mounted on a combustible surface.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the oval shape better than a round kamado?
The oval shape mirrors the design of traditional grills and makes it much easier to divide the grill into hot and cold zones. You also get room for much longer ingredients, such as a whole rack of salmon or large whole spareribs, without having to cut them up to fit.
What do I need to get started?
We highly recommend investing in heat deflectors to be able to utilize indirect heat for smoking and baking. Also, remember to order ceramic feet or a suitable table if the grill is not going to be built into a fireproof outdoor kitchen.
