Kasumi means mist in Japanese, referring to the wavy pattern in the blade. The pattern comes from 32 layers of steel forged around a hard VG-10 core. The core gives a sharp edge, while the outer layers give the blade strength. How to use

1. Rinse and dry the knives and scissors before first use.

5. Maintain the edge with a honing rod or whetstone as needed.
