Lava V.200 Premium X: The Entry Model with Double Seal
It is the seal that decides whether a freezer pack lasts one year or three. The Lava V.200 Premium X from German maker La.va puts two seams on every bag, the pump draws approx. 35 l/min and reaches -0.94 bar. It takes bags up to 34 cm wide, handles up to 1000 seals in succession without overheating, and shows the vacuum on an LED indicator.

The machine runs automatically, vacuum and seal in one operation, but you can stop the vacuum manually at any point and seal yourself. That is the function you use on delicate foods such as berries, fresh fish and prepared meals, where a full pull down would crush them flat. The housing is impact resistant ABS, and a built in liquid trap keeps stock and marinade out of the pump.
If you are packing something with liquid, such as marinated meat or stock, put the bag in the freezer for half an hour first. The liquid firms up just enough that it is not drawn into the sealing zone, and you get an airtight seam on the first attempt instead of cutting the bag open and starting again.
External vacuum sealers need textured bags. The embossed inside creates air channels so the pump can reach all the air, and a smooth bag simply will not empty. See Trollvac textured vacuum bags 20x30 cm, we stock textured bags in every size.
Features
- Airtight seam: Double seal, 2 seams on every bag, and it is the seam rather than the vacuum that decides freezer life.
- Strong pump: The pump draws approx. 35 l/min and reaches -0.94 bar.
- Built for long sessions: Up to 1000 seals in succession without overheating, enough for a whole carcass in one go.
- Automatic and manual: Run everything automatically, or stop the vacuum yourself when packing delicate food.
- Solidly built: Housing in impact resistant ABS and a built in liquid trap protecting the pump.
How to use
- Put the food in a textured bag and leave at least 5 cm of the bag edge empty.
- Wipe the bag edge completely clean and dry, fat and liquid ruin the seal.
- Lay the bag edge over the sealing strip and close the lid until it locks.
- Let the machine run automatically, or stop the vacuum manually when you are happy and seal.
- Feel the seam and check the bag is airtight before the food goes in the freezer.

FAQ Frequently asked questions
Which bags do I need?
Textured bags, meaning bags with an embossed inside. External vacuum sealers draw the air out through the channels in the texture, and a smooth bag will not empty. Smooth bags belong with chamber machines.
How many bags can I seal in a row?
Up to 1000 seals in succession without the machine needing a rest. That covers a whole carcass or a full freezer clear out in one session, with no pauses to let the sealing strip cool down.
Can I pack liquid and moist food?
Yes, but freeze the bag for half an hour first when there is a lot of liquid. The machine has a built in liquid trap for what follows along, but liquid in the sealing zone gives a leaking seam on any machine.
How does this compare with the neighbouring model?
The V.300 Premium X has the same pump and sealing width but a pressure gauge instead of an LED indicator, so you can read the vacuum level exactly.
