The briquettes are produced in traditional stone ovens and consist of a carefully selected blend of oak, beech, and acacia, with natural starch as a binder. The even heat distribution makes it incredibly easy to maintain the right temperature in the grill, whether you are searing juicy steaks at high heat or slow cooking a large brisket.
Because the briquettes burn so long and efficiently, they are particularly well suited for long barbecue sessions ("Low & Slow"). You avoid having to refill charcoal constantly, and the neutral smoke flavor gives you full control to rather add your own favorite smoking wood chunks like apple, cherry, or hickory.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the easiest way to light the briquettes?
We always recommend using a chimney starter along with natural firelighters. This gives you good airflow, and the briquettes will quickly and evenly heat through before you pour them into the grill.
Are these suitable for ceramic grills (Kamado)?
For ceramic grills, we primarily recommend regular lump charcoal, as large amounts of ash from briquettes can clog the airflow at the bottom. However, in regular kettle grills and offset smokers, these are absolutely fantastic!
