Tip: For the best result, the meat farce should be as cold as possible (preferably semi-frozen) when stuffing. This prevents the fat from "melting" and smearing, giving the sausages a better texture and "snap".

Instructions

  1. Attach the desired nozzle (thin for wiener/lamb, thick for bratwurst/salami).
  2. Tilt the cylinder back and fill with cold meat farce. Press the meat down well to avoid air gaps.
  3. Slide the casing onto the nozzle.
  4. Set the speed to "Slow" and press the foot pedal.
  5. Guide the sausage with your hands while the machine feeds the meat. Release the pedal to stop.

FAQ

Can the parts be washed in a dishwasher?
The cylinder and tubes are stainless steel and can handle machine washing, but we recommend hand washing the cylinder due to its size and to preserve the seals. The motor unit is wiped with a cloth.
Why does the piston go down slower than up?
This is a safety and control feature. Downwards (when stuffing) it should be slow for precision. Upwards (when reloading) you can use high speed to save time.
Which casings fit the tubes?
With the 4 tubes you cover everything: 16mm fits sheep casing (wieners), 22mm fits hog casing (bratwurst), and 32/38mm fits beef or fibrous casing (salami/summer sausage).
