Charcoal

Restaurant grade charcoal

Charcoal is not just fuel. The lump you choose decides heat, burn time, flavor profile and how much work you have to do during the cook.

We supply restaurant grade charcoal trusted by kamado owners, barbecue professionals, food trucks and live fire kitchens. All products here are 100 percent natural hardwood charcoal with no additives. That means steady heat, low smoke and predictable flavor.

The difference between each charcoal type comes down to three things: burn time, peak heat and smoke character.

Marabu

Marabu is dense Cuban charcoal known for extremely long burn time and steady heat. It has a clean, low smoke profile and is ideal for low and slow barbecue in kamado and smokers. This is what you want for overnight cooks and long steady sessions without refilling.

Quebracho Blanco

Quebracho Blanco is South American hardwood charcoal with brutal searing power. It burns very hot and clean and is the choice for steak, yakitori, skewers and any direct high heat grilling where you want crust and Maillard flavor. This is classic live fire steakhouse fuel.

Birch and Hornbeam

Birch and Hornbeam is a European blend in large chunks. The structure supports airflow and makes it easier to hold a low, steady temperature for hours. This is slow cook fuel for pork shoulder, ribs, brisket and big cuts you want to run all night without constant attention.

Birch and Aspen

Birch and Aspen is our true all round fuel, also produced in Europe. Mild smoke, clean burn and easy control. You can sear steaks hot and at the same time hold indirect heat for larger cuts or vegetables without getting harsh smoke flavor.

Acacia Black Wattle

Acacia Black Wattle is South African acacia charcoal made for long service under load. It delivers intense heat when you open the vents and also holds a long steady glow with low smoke output. Perfect for catering, food trucks and outdoor kitchens that need consistent output for hours.

How to choose

For low and slow and overnight stability choose Marabu or Birch and Hornbeam.

For high heat steakhouse style searing choose Quebracho Blanco or Acacia Black Wattle.

For one bag that does everything choose Birch and Aspen.

All our charcoal comes in large restaurant grade chunks. Larger pieces mean better airflow, steadier burn, less ash and cleaner flavor. That matters in ceramic grills, kamado cookers and professional live fire rigs where heat is controlled by air, not by lifting the lid every two minutes.
