On this base, you can incredibly easily mount either the robust grinder housing in tinned cast iron to grind your own ground meat and make sausages, or click on the tomato press attachment to make authentic Italian passata, jam, or purees. This is genuine Italian engineering built to be passed down through generations.
The tomato press is not just brilliant for tomatoes! Feel free to use it to make redcurrant jelly or applesauce without having to peel the fruit or clean the berries first. The machine automatically separates skin, stems, and seeds, giving you only pure, smooth puree.

Bruksveiledning
- Choose the module and securely screw either the meat grinder housing or the tomato press housing onto the motor unit.
- For meat: Cut the meat into strips that fit the tube. Let the screw do the work, never push hard.
- For tomato/berry: Feed the fruit into the hopper. Juice comes out of the strainer while skins are pushed out the front.
- Disassemble and wash all equipment thoroughly by hand after use. Dry cast iron parts immediately to prevent rust.

Are the parts dishwasher safe?
No, the grinder housing is made of tinned cast iron. Dishwasher detergents are much too strong and will corrode the tin, causing the iron to rust. Always wash by hand in warm water and dry thoroughly immediately.
Can I make sausages with this machine?
Yes, absolutely! By purchasing a sausage stuffing tube (often sold separately), you can use the grinder housing to stuff sausages. Remember to remove the knife and hole plate, and insert a sausage spacer for the best results.
What does TC-8 mean?
TC stands for "Tritacarne" (Meat Grinder in Italian) and the number 8 indicates the size of the grinder housing and hole plate itself. Size 8 is considered the perfect medium size for regular home use.
