Instructions
- Select module: Screw either the mincer body or the tomato press body onto the motor unit.
- For meat: Cut meat into strips that fit the tube. Don't push too hard, let the worm do the work.
- For tomato/berries: Feed the fruit into the hopper. Juice/puree comes out the sieve, while skins/seeds exit the front.
- After use: Disassemble the body and wash parts thoroughly by hand. Dry cast iron parts immediately and lightly oil them.
FAQ
Can the parts be washed in a dishwasher?
No. The mincer body is made of tinned cast iron. Dishwasher detergents are too harsh and will corrode the tin, causing the iron to rust. Always wash by hand in warm water and dry immediately.
Can I make sausages with this?
Yes, absolutely! By purchasing sausage funnels (often sold separately), you can use the mincer body to stuff sausages. Simply remove the knife and plate, and insert a sausage spacer.
What does TC-8 mean?
TC stands for "Tritacarne" (Meat Mincer) and the number 8 indicates the size of the mincer head/plate. Size 8 is the perfect intermediate size for home use and small game hunting.
